Toutia is a culinary studio created by two sisters, Tracy and Théa, combining creative edible installations and space sce- nography.
Toutia tells our passion for food, photography and architecture through sensory and social interactions. Our work aims to evoke the senses and memory through intimate experiences shared collectively.
Similar to an archaeological exploration process,our creations draw their meaning from a search for traces, tactile and edi- ble materials present around us. An artisanal way of transforming the products of the earth into matter ready to be tasted. Through each project,we invite the viewer to experiment with different textures and tastes and to engage with the devel- oped theme.
Drawing inspiration from all the things that are important to us – the rhythm of the Mediterranean waves, the pebbles and shells on the sand, tabbouleh with our grandmother, the light of the Beirut twilight, the color of the sky, the volcanic landscapes...
